Mates in Mind Fundraising

Since Mates in Mind was launched in 2017, the charity’s work has been entrenched in improving mental health across the construction industry and other related sectors. Naturally, this charity has a genuine connection with our co-workers and us, and we are committed to helping support this cause in any way we can.
2022 August Fundraiser

The pre-August bank holiday, Summer Raffle and Dress Down Day was yet another successful fundraising event organised by our Charity team. £398.00 was raised, along with great prizes won by the team. A perfect way to finish the working day ready for the Bank Holiday. Who doesn’t love a raffle?
Annual Golf Fundraising Event

Our 2022 Golf Fundraising Day was hosted at Woburn Golf Club on May 20th, where 18 teams (72 players) got to compete against one another on a level playing field in a friendly round. The day was wrapped up with an awards ceremony in the Master’s Lounge, hosted by Sean Hoare, Managing Director of ECL and Geoff Swain, who handed out the day’s prizes. Thank you to our sponsors who sponsored a hole at the course and helped raise £8k on the day.
Sports Connections Foundation Children's Charity

Sports Connections Foundation was established in 2010. They believe every child matters, and their main focus is to use the power of sport to inspire, empower, educate and transform the lives of children and young people. With supporters around the UK aiding their work, they have increased the number of exciting opportunities and exit routes for over 550,000 children and young people through new dynamic partnerships and wonderful connections. We are proud to be one of their supporters.

Supporting Towcestrians Under-8s Boys Team

We're pleased to have sponsored the playing shirts and hoodies for the Towcesterians RFC under-8s boys team for 2022-2023. Towcesterians RFC has a thriving mini section. Their under-8s have some fantastic, dedicated players who practice weekly and play matches competitively on a Sunday morning during the season against the opposition across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. We love their dedication and competitive spirit, even at such a young age.
Sponsoring Luton Celtic Young under 12s FC

2022 - We've just sponsored the kit for another amazing bunch of dedicated young football players. The Luton Celtic Young under 12s is a brilliant bunch of kids who play in the Chiltern Junior Sevens U12 Division 2. The club coaches are excellently developing their football skills and teamwork, and we foresee a great season ahead.

2022 is the second year the charity team at ECL are raising monies to provide food and other necessary items needed for the Bedford Food Bank, which is in Murdock Road, Bedford.
This year, donations are needed more than ever.
MacMillan Coffee Morning Raises £370

2022 - Macmillan Coffee Morning at ECL’s Head Office has raised £370 for the cancer charity. Hosted by the Charity team on Friday, 30th September, the day featured coffee and cake, a baking competition, plus a well-supported dress-down day.
