Newark Half Marathon Sponsors
It was amazing to witness a parade of all ages and abilities, from club athletes to jogging enthusiasts and fun runners, gathering at the start lines, ready to take on the DB Newark Half Marathon and fun run routes with fantastic enthusiasm and spirit.
Over 1,000 women, men and children competed in the half marathon in intense heat. Each ran the fast course with great determination and community spirit, motivated along the way by race officials, fellow competitors and the hoard of spectators who kept spirits high with their cheers of encouragement.
The event was a great success for all those who competed and smashed it and all the supporters and race helpers who generously gave their time.
The Newark Half Marathon is a well-established and recognised Annual Half Marathon. The event provides an avenue to showcase Newark as a dynamic town and promote local businesses and organisations. Moreover, it provides a means for local charities to raise funds for their causes.
